Whether we realize it or not, there are people who manage to earn more money than a TV star, because of the videos they posted on Youtube.
For some, vlogs, videos which present different products or reviews or makeup tutorials and recipes are an important source of income.
Forbes presented a top of YouTube who earned the most money last year from posts on the Google-owned video platform.
The first place was Felix Kjellberg (as usual), more commonly known as PewDiePie, who earned $ 15 million, an amount 20% higher than the previous edition of the ranking.
He managed to keep the title of the highest paid star on YouTube, although he suggested recently that he wants to delete his account.
And it’s not the only one who managed to gather a huge amount of money from the videos. In total, all present in the top 10 has earned 70.5 million dollars from July 2015 to June 2016 which is the period in which Forbes has done the math.
Among the stars on YouTube, there is a baker, a rapper and a duo of comedians.
Forbes combined the data from audience measurement firm Nielsen, IMDB and other sources, and information obtained from agents, managers, lawyers and industry players, as well as directly from the stars.
